CH. 1: Introduction to Organizational Behavior

In most cases, employers who offer health care plans and benefits understand the importance of communication and take it as a value that benefits every employee in the organization. Primarily, effective communication is a significant tool in an organization’s success through training, performance appraisals, and motivation (Robbins & Timothy 3). In a bid to understand management within the organization, duties, responsibilities, purpose, goal are addressed.  

Purpose and the Goal of the Duty

I work in an office setting, and I assist members with health care benefit plans as I use my vast interpersonal skills and experience to keep standard performance. Primarily, it is significant for a company to have the code of conduct and teach employees at different levels about both individual and team behavior to improve organization’s performance. The exciting part is that managers should apply their behavior knowledge to individuals, groups, and structure for effectively achieve organization’s goals. At the managerial level, organization behavior promotes motivation among employers. As a result, this enhances interpersonal communication within the different departments, leadership skills, attitude development as well as minimizing conflicts in an organization (Aggarwal & Topaloglu 73). At this point, behavior disciplines such as psychology that aims at changing code of conducts to subordinates through learning training, work design, and managing work stress.

Duties and responsibilities

The primary responsibility of employers is to ensure effective communication among all the subordinates to allow problem-solving and information sharing within the organization. Also, they draft plans and ensuring that it is followed and navigate the health care forms within the organization. Typically, it is vital to ensure that all plan members of the company deliver their payment claims if at all there is any. It is important to note that organization’s values are respected by every subordinate which helps in managing workforce diversity through gender, race age, disability and domestic violence within and out of the organization (Aggarwal & Topaloglu 73). Another significant role is to ensure that all employees’ skills are improved through motivation, training, creating effective teamwork, and promotions. For these reasons as someone working in the managerial department, it is essential to consider these factors in daily work schedule to achieve organization goals.

Finally, developing employer’s interpersonal skills, motivation skills, and communication skills among others is the dominant aspect of achieving organizational goals. Organization behavior such as motivation, interpersonal communication, and attitude development is vital for organizational performance.
