With the transformation of political beliefs, China is more concerned with tangible economic practices. The power of China lies with its economic importance and presence in the geopolitical regions around it (Momani, 2016).

China’s fast growth resulted in its development; as focused on the Geo-economics perspective between the coastal and rural regions; it can be noticed that China is more concerned on the regional growth and in this way; the country is shaping the growth paths through the preferential policy. Therefore, for the coastal and rural regions, the transportation infrastructure was focused with the closeness to coastlines, and the country implemented the policies through the Open-Door Policy (ODP). The coastal regions of China are getting importance through this preferential perspective of economic growth. In one way, China had opened its strategy already by the launch of the ping-pong diplomacy in 1971 followed by the whirlwind of the Richard Nixon visit to Beijing in 1972(Kueh, 2012). Both of the events happened before the promulgation of the reform and opening up strategy which celebrated the Third Pleum in 1978 for the National Congress Party. Economic integration was primarily the process of unification which imposed coherence on the lastly disparate, separate geographical regions. It has been pursued as a domestic as well as the international goal. The recent creation of the regional formal economic identities like that of European, North American and Asian Pacific forums of NAFTA, EC and APEC has been considered as a threat to the truly integrated global economy.

The transportation facilities are concerned or noticed in the country which slowly resulted in the preferential policies. China for the advancement of the beachfront and provincial, district centers on the improvement of the areas and seaside regions by monetary. These geographic features resulted in the coastal and rural region’s economic development by implementing effective policies. The economic rise of China since the 1980s has been unprecedented in its breadth and speed. Being the most populated country in the world, its share of economic output has only increased regarding the purchasing power parity. The share of China’s global trade has increased from 1% to 12% from 1980 to 2010. The entrance of China into the global stage has created friction in foreign investments, trade, finance, competition for natural resources, and intellectual property rights (Dahlman, 2011). Geo-economics perspective between the coastal and rural regions is the result of infrastructure build-up and economic development as well as the pure geographic endowments.

More often the national GDP calculation is based on the same performance indicators in which the income distribution systems and the resource distribution systems are not inherently linked to the production factors. It is mainly linked with the lower productivity that is associated with the execution of the profit plans, the sales plan, and the increase in the market share, the profitability level, the personnel turnover rate and the hours worked by employees. Any changes in the economic models are led by the new innovative growth trends as dependent on the customer motivation associated with the concentration of capital in the national and regional markets (Sun, 2013).
