Dear Ms. Sylvia,
I hope you are doing in good health. Your requests for the financial contribution to the New Hope Foundation by Financial Solutions, and for granting you leave for coordinating the charity fashion show were received. However, we are finding it difficult to facilitate you on both requests.
You are certainly one of the most productive employees of our staff. And your commitment to making a difference in the society and specifically to the lives of newborn babies is seen with great respect and admiration. As you are aware of the forthcoming release of Planning Guide 5.0, you certainly would have felt the increasing workload leading into the release days. Being a globally recognized leader in financial reporting and planning software, the issuance of Planning Guide 5.0 is very crucial to the long-term success of our company and consequently for our employees. Unfortunately, your request for leave could not have been received at a more difficult time. Deadlines are arriving, and tasks are compiling. We all need to accelerate our pace entering the last months before the launch. With the video testimonials and interview with clients lined up, we certainly need you here.
As for the contribution to the foundation is concerned; you are pretty much aware of the financial situation. We have invested majorly in the new product launch and are expecting great results. It would be really difficult for us to contribute to the foundation this year as we did in past years. I hope you understand our limitations.
We respect the freedom and the commitment of our employees to activities outside our firm. However, at this crucial time, we could not have needed you more. We are also hopeful to make a better contribution to the Foundation in the future after the successful launch of the Planning Guide 5.0. Your support and understanding will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Chester Goings
