TV ad that gives a reason to buy the product

McDonald Rice Bowl ad seems interesting and attractive. I like this Ad because it depicts a family culture in Asia. For Instance, in the ad, a daughter with her mother in the McDonald outlet is talking to her father. She has to start the delicious meal in McDonald with her mother. However, they also remember him.  Rice Bowl is a traditional and delicious family meal, which is specially made for families.  Suddenly, after the phone call, her father arrives at McDonald. They do dinner together.

In the TV commercial, the most important factors are culture and love. McDonald contains emotional and sentimental attachments with people due to prominent cultural integration. Thus, it fascinates me, and it keeps all McDonald products relevant, including Rice Bowl. It compels me to buy McDonald products because I exist in the same family culture.  This TV commercial also portrays the taste that customers like.  Therefore, I usually make positive buying decisions (McDonald’s, 2018).

TV ad that does not give a reason to buy the product

The famous TV commercial “DAD” looks controversial. It exploits childhood bereavement. Sometimes, to justify the products in the market McDonald plays with the emotions of people to enhance the visibility of positioning.  However, it is a tactless ad that broke many hearts, including mine. There is no depiction of the quality, price, and food menu in this commercial. Furthermore, to me, nothing is attractive in this ad, and it keeps me away from McDonald products.

This TV commercial is hurting people or children who lost their parents. Therefore, there is no reason for me to buy products from this company.  Perception of every individual or customer is different that helps to make the buying decisions (Coffee, 2017).
