Art and Science of Experiential Leadership: Culture and Change Success

Reading Discussion: The Art and Science of Experiential Leadership: Culture at the Core of Process Change Success

Point 1

Experiential leadership is a good approach in the change process. However, the key point in this change process is the training and development process of people despite containing impaired business conditions. I have an impact on my job, as I am already stressed due to overwork in the company. In these conditions, I am not motivated to participate in the training process. Thus, the role of the management is to reduce this resistance and create a pertinent environment to get things done (Thomson, 2010, pp. 2, Para 3).

Point 2

Moreover, the second aspect is using different performance art techniques. Being a top performer in the company, I always look to participate in different teams. The management usually chooses top performances with some good capabilities to create a competitive environment. I create a good impact on my performance as well, as I am facilitated by the management to explore my skills and contribute to the success in an effective and lucrative manner (Thomson, 2010, pp. 3, Para 2).

Point 3

The third aspect is measuring success. In the change process, it seems important to come up with some adequate measures to make circuital differences. My vision in the field is to gain success and meet the expectations of the management. My contributions, learning, and client satisfaction are some key success measures (Thomson, 2010, pp. 4, Para 5).

Point 4

The fourth point in the material is the problem-solving techniques for clients. For Instance, being a consultant in the company, I always navigate previous solutions and results. Based on these solutions and results, I present several alternatives. I chose the best alternative for the client, and it justifies my future vision in this field. The most important thing is to learn and make changes with the passage of time to become a great contributor (Turner, 1982).

Impact on Practice

Through readings in the course material, I have learned how to maintain efficiency at work and solve different problems. For this particular purpose, I have derived several measures, which help me to do my job effectively. The impact of practice is prominent, as I will be using different performing techniques to create a good impact on the company’s performance overall.  Changing practice is important in the career. Dynamic and creative relations at the workplace are two big factors, which create the impact on practice.

Discussion Question

How does the change process and role of the management rate have an impact on both career, and job performance?
