Introducing Scrum at P2P (Case Study)

1-How Would You Assess P2p’s Effort at Introducing Scrum?

P2P’s effort at introducing Scrum has been assessed. It is a fact that the project management is using the waterfall project model. It seems the traditional process, which creates many barriers in the project management process. However, the intervention of the P2P has been streamlined to contain the continued improvements in this traditional waterfall model of the project. The project management, due to this effort experiences the effective feedback to identify different opportunities. Thus, according to the assessment, the P2P seems worthy of the opportunity exploitation. However, it has been revealed that the synergy in the team is not up to the mark. The performance is triggered by the individual performance in different teams. It has hit the collaborative process in teams, which also hit the project objective. After each sprint, the management of the project has to make some adjustments to improve and sustain then project process. The identification of several opportunities or flaws in each phase is a good approach, which can be enabled through P2P. P2P ensures the valuable feedback from the key project stakeholders, which help the project management to complete the project process successfully.

2-What Challenges Does An Organization Face When Adopting An Agile Approach Like Scrum?

The biggest challenge the organization can face when adopting the agile in the culture. In many organizations, the role of the project management is quite visible regarding project planning, decision making, and improvements through different methodologies and considerations. However, in the agile method, each team member has to play its role to identify opportunities and flaws and take some appropriate actions to make improvements. It has been observed that team members are not usually trained to make decisions and improve the process. They may have the help of the project managers. Thus, in agile, it seems a big challenge and the project management have to train the team members, and obviously, it may increase the cost of the project as well. However, if the project manager trains the project teams in the project process, he may delegate the process. Teams will be effectively managing the project. According to different insights, derived from the project management case study, it is to mention that the change resistance is the second big challenge for this organization. People usually do not know the process of agile. They do not want to contain the trust in different agile processes.

3-What Could P2p Have Done To Enhance Success?

P2P has done many things to enhance success. For Instance, in the project process, there can be many problems, which are to be identified and resolved by the project team. The biggest contribution is initiating the new ways of doing work. Perhaps, it may take time, but it ensures the long-term sustainability and improvement, it seems a big contribution. Also, to enhance the visibility of success, P2P assists in streamlining the role of the facilitator. Instead of calling the master, working with the perm is a good idea to manage the process, especially in the critical integration episode. For boosting the success process in the project, it is necessary to take some time to learn different things in different phases. When transforming the process, in this case, the visibility of the success can be enhanced through introducing different aspects with the passage of the time. Different factors such as sprint a, scrum and many others can be introduced separately to enhance the understanding. The most important thing is to demonstrate new ways of tactics to encounter different issues or problems in the project process. In the end, the management can eliminate all problems and challenges quickly and efficiently.
