Grand Adventure Park : Case Study

What should and can be done long-term to address the issue/s.

The main issue is a high employee turnover rate in the company. Secondly, the management is making plans for holiday trips to provide entertainment to the management. Thus, the neglecting of the consideration of the high turnover rate and giving priority to the management instead is a point of worry. It is indeed important that the management should consider first cutting off the scheduled holiday trips to remove employee’s concerns scheduled holiday trips plans. It can aid the management by making the employees feeling of participation, respect, and ownership.

It is evident that the bond between the management and its staff provide a basic foundation for success. The Grand Park case entails a symbolic example of the importance of this relationship. The problem can be solved by forming a committee in which the senior management and the junior staff are teamed up and given the task of coming up with the most suitable date/time, not being biased on either side. This committee can also aid in overseeing any future misunderstandings/ problems between the staff and the management. In the light of the misunderstanding, the reward criteria should be continued. Employees always feel motivated when they get rewarded for achieving the company goals. Moreover, the reward program will also motivate the employees to work for their personal goals and benefiting the company as well (Sharma).
