Employers Ought (Not) Provide Health Care for Their Employees

According to the opinion of Varn on the employee’s health care system in the companies; it is necessary that the companies or employers should focus on the health care for their employees because there are competitive benefits in this way. Companies could attract top talent through competitive packages and through offering them health insurance. The competitive benefits package in healthcare can benefit the company as there can result in greater productivity and job satisfaction, etc. Employers can focus on the management principles and need to manage the expense for health so that there may be no health issues because if employees in the company face issues related to their health, then employers may face issues related to reduced productivity, absenteeism and low performance (Varn).

If the company bears the medical expense of employee’s health, then they will not face depression and anxiety. If a company provides benefits and services to employees, then it could be a great or good investment for the company. Through providing health resources, the mental health issues of the employees can be resolved. However, the employees needed to be given preventive care program; so that employees may not face physical and psychological issues. Companies need to bear medical expenses to provide care for the effectiveness and productivity in the company (Varn).

It is analyzed through a news article that companies in the U.S. are effectively providing health care facilities to their employees. The Trump administration also focuses on expanding access to affordable health so that there might be benefits to the employees. Moreover, companies need to manage health plans for the employees; especially if the government of the country is supportive. The health insurance can increase employees’ new and innovative plans and can retain a workforce in the company. According to the Trump rule, companies can make their workforce more effective through health plans; therefore, the laws are supportive (Ballou).
