We need creative thinking to build innovative capacity. Creative thinking opens new ways to do different things. The generation of new ideas and thoughts helps the organization evolve with time (Adair, 2009). The new creative idea can lead towards innovation, and ultimately, it increases the innovative space in an organization. Being a leader of the company, it is important to adopt the pertinent leadership style to shape both process and behavior (Puccio, Mance, & Murdock, 2010).
The leadership team can streamline creative ideas and integrate with modern business or industry trends. It seems a good approach to sustain the business in the competitive market. Through a pertinent leadership style, the leader can increase leadership influence and power (Mumford, Waples, Murphy, & Devenport, 2010). The organizational sustainability also depends on the leadership approach and creative outcomes, and these can be derived through enhancing the motivation (Derecskel, 2016).
The best ways to achieve the outcome is people’s engagement through training and development and motivation. Creative thinking in an organization can be depicted through streamlining employee’s efforts (Puccio, Mance, & Murdock, 2010). To achieve new outcomes in an organization, the leadership has to support useful and novel ideas to come up with high-quality solutions to different problems. Best outcomes can be predicted by setting appropriate goals and encouraging teamwork (Adair, 2009).
Interestingly, it has been revealed that leadership helps employees seek different perspectives in different situations. Thus, they can produce new solutions or alternatives, and the overall innovative capacity can be increased (Raynor, 2011). Thus, it is to mention that the role of leadership in the company can shape the employee behavior and performance, which can increase the visibility of new ideas. The leadership causes innovative outcomes, which can help the company sustain the business in the competitive business environment for a long run (Vele, 2016).
