1-SOCIAL PERCEPTION HAS A NUMBER OF INHERENT BIASES IN IT. IDENTITY AND EXPLAIN THEM.

Organizations are facing diversity in the workplace. Having a diverse workforce in the company is benefiting. However, managing people is quite challenging for the management of social perceptions when dealing with a diverse workforce. It is a fact that people intend to observe different behaviors, situations, and person. The tendency of the judge or observe the management’s behavior and the decision is triggered by the inherent biases. In the management process, it looks tough to change these inherent biases to change the behavior of the group of employees and regain growth. The possibility inherent is a racial difference. For Instance, Black people may perceive that all decisions by the management are against this particulate group. Because they have a history of discrimination, therefore, this inherent bias seems obvious. Social perception contains another inherent bias, and it can be attributed. Based on the social perception, employees or a group of people in an organization can relate different things intentionally or unintentionally (Saxena).

2-WHAT ARE THE TWO MAIN TYPES OF DIVERSITY TRAINING THAT A COMPANY CAN OFFER ITS EMPLOYEES?

There are two types of perspective training in an organization. Two types of diversity training in the organization are perception taking and goal setting. In the perception taking diversity training, the management records the perception of all individuals in the workplace and tries to clear things. Interestingly, it has been revealed that the perception of taking diversity training changed the diversity attitude in many organizations. The management can offer the country’s perception with a pertinent rationale to change the behavior of people and create the collaborative culture to work on the same agenda. On the other hand, the goal setting diversity training is also effective, and it can also increase job performance. Diversity management may set the goal for employees to challenge the misappropriate comments by the marginalized group in the firm. It is great protection from the discrimination and harassment in diverse work culture (Mandal).

3-DESCCRIBE THE TERM MOTIVATION AND ITS IMPACT ON JOB PERFORMANCE

Motivation has emerged as a key organizational behavioral concept.  Motivation is a reason for any individual in the company to work in a certain way. Motivation can be understood through positive and negative reinforcement theory of motivation. For Instance, if the management praises the performance of employees and promises some rewards, he can contain the repetitive behavior. On the other hand, the management may also punish employees to avoid certain behavior to increase motivation. It has a direct impact on job performance. Any promising return by the organization is a motivating factor, and it compels or attracts employees to work according to expectations in a certain way. The motivation creates a positive impact on the job performance. If the employee in the firm is motivated, it can be retained. He will want to work effectively to get rewards, promotions, monetary benefit, and many other attractive offers and incentives (Mandal).

4-BRIEFLY DEFINE MASLOW’S NEED HIERARCHY THEORY AND IDENTIFY ITS COMPONENTS. PLEASE USE DIAGRAM TO CLARIFY YOUR ANSWER.

Self-actualization, esteem needs, belongingness and love needs, safety needs, psychological needs are the elements of the Maslow need hierarchy. A psychological need includes food, water, shelter, and clothing. Without fulfilling these needs, a man cannot be motivated.  Security, stability, and law are part of the safety needs. If a person is secured in the work environment, the element of motivation always exists. After fulfilling these needs, affiliation, intimation, and friendship are the needs of a human. Self-esteem depicts the respect and reputation, which motivate people in both society and organization.  The self-actualization need is linked with personal growth and peak experience. Through self-fulfillment, the person may want to become everything. This need may occur when all above needs are fulfilled. In an organization, the management intends to justify the self-actualization by initiating some platforms for personal growth (Mandal).
