Summary of the Article
Writing deficiencies have increased with the time, and it increased threats for employees in organizations and graduates in different universities. The article states deficiencies, cost, and suggestion to get rid of the problem.
Research problem
The lost generation of business writers is a significant research problem. It seems unusual to find causes and cost of different writing deficiencies. It has been revealed that America organizations spend $3.1 billion annually to remediate these writing deficiencies (Quible & Griffin, 2010). The cost of the writing deficiency and poor communication in organizations are two main elements, which revolve around this significant problem. Several suggestions have been provided. However, the problem must be eliminated from the root. For Instance, the role of the grammar instructions in the classes is the right idea. Preparing business students from educational institutions is a better strategy to implore written business communication (Business World, 2017). Authors have suggested modified Context-based approach, consistent error marking and the glossing approach. After examining the reasons, the authors find these solutions or suggestions (Quible & Griffin, 2010).

Method
The author has used a qualitative approach to examine the writing deficiencies and derived suggestions. Authors have navigated many organizations and possible problems, which are associated with different business writing problems.
Findings
Error based grammar instruction can help to evaluate several grammar errors that students usually make. Also, this issue can also be resolved through sentence diagramming. It seems a better idea to teach fundamental principles of grammar. Also, several error labeling techniques can help to improve writing (Florey, 2012).
Implications discussed by the authors
The authors examined the role of educators in improving business writing. They also claim that educator or educational institutes are responsible for this problem. Now, both students and educators have to work to get rid of this issue.
