Gratitude and Wellbeing

INTRODUCTION

Gratitude and well-being are two several factors, which are visible in both, society and professional life.  An individual may contain the emotional and sentimental attachment with people, and it creates an impact on a behavior. Writing a letter to someone sees a communication process that helps to share feeling, thoughts, and attachments.

A-WHY DID YOU SELECT THE THREE PARTICULAR INDIVIDUALS? WAS IT A DIFFICULT CHOICE TO MAKE?

I have selected three particular individuals. For personal, professional, and professor, I considered the close friend, mentor, and teacher respectively. Making this these choices is not a difficult task for me, as I know the suitable person to write a letter and share something.  In person, I have a closed relation my best friend. I feel I can share anything regarding my success and struggle. I often depict reluctance when sharing something with my family members and other people. Thus, considering a close friend seems a right choice for me.

Moreover, in professional life, I have selected mentor, as he is the only person who can identify my strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats.  Instead of being engaged with the industrial, professional, employers and any worker, the mentor is the right choice for me to write a letter. I would like to depict my gratitude that worked with me to improve my performance in the workplace and made my healthy mentally. I have the right relationship with him writing time makes him glad. I think I can write a good letter of gratitude and well-being to my mentor as compared to other people. It was not a difficult choice to make, as a sustaining relationship with my mentor is my top priority, as far as my future is concerned.

I also write a letter of gratitude and well-being to my school teacher.  He is a good teacher, as he works with students like me to understand different concepts and theories. Along with the study, he also played an essential role in shaping my behavior to integrate with the society and organizations.  Name of school teacher comes first in mind when I intend to write this letter.

B-HOW DID YOU FEEL EMOTIONALLY WHEN YOU WERE WRITING THE LETTERS?

I have emotional and sentimental attachments to these people. Emotionally, when writing these letters, I write several spiritual insights to demonstrate the gratitude to these people. The contribution of these people in my life is visible. These people have become a part of my life, and it makes me emotional. For instance, when writing these letters, I feel I am nothing without these people. Without any a personal interest, these people have dedicated their time. Thus, I thanked several times, explored my feelings, and wrote several memories as well.

C-HOW DID EACH OF THE THREE INDIVIDUALS RESPOND TO RECEIVING YOUR LETTER? WHAT DID THEY SAY/DO?

My close friend overwhelmed my letter of gratitude and well-being. After receiving the message, he called me and appreciated my feelings. He was glad to see my note.   He was quite happy due to my behavior.  He does not take any credit for any help.  He said he was here to help and spend a good time with me.

The mentor also overwhelmed my letter of gratitude.  He wrote me a letter in response saying I am always here to support you. I usually mention others your behavior and approach to other people. You are the best individual to work or collaborate.  In the end, he thanked me for admiring my gratitude.

I did not get a response through a letter from my teacher. Probably me he is much busy with his daily routine. However, he called and thanked me for praising his work. He invited me to visit the school and meet him.  It was a good response at, and I am willing to visit him.

D-WERE YOU SURPRISED? HOW DID YOU FEEL AFTERWARD? ARE YOU GLAD THAT YOU DID IT?

I am not surprised. People are responsive, and it makes me feel proud. Yes, I am glad what I did. Remembering people and providing the gratitude is proper ethical behavior, and I am satisfied with it. It gives me comfort and satisfaction that I have sustained all good relations in life, and people acknowledge it accordingly.

E-HOW CAN EXPRESSING GRATITUDE TOWARD OTHERS IMPACT YOUR SENSE OF WELLBEING?

It creates a positive impact on well-being. For Instance, it provides me an excellent opportunity to know people’s health and work. Many things change with time, and writing a letter of gratitude justifies the impact on the well-being. It seems a bridge to sustain relations.

EXIT REFLECTIONS

Well, work-life balance is a successful approach, which has been practiced in many organizations. Big lessons that I have learned from the class is to keep the balance between work and life. Maintaining the work is a good initiative. However, maintaining the relationship is also good to justify the wellbeing and happiness. Apparently, I can sleep well and contain the empathy and gratitude to sustain good relations. It can be depicted through

Spiritual

In the class, I have learned that living a meaningful life gives a self-direction. When I mindfully savor my current state (State), it gives me useful life and happiness.

Physical

If I care myself, I can also care others.  Being physically fit allows me to contain the happiness and work-life balance. For Instance, if I want to write a letter of gratitude to someone, I have to justify my fineness first to create the sense of well-being.

Intellectual

Deep learning and open to experience are essential for me to integrate with other people, sustain relations and just the happiness. Understanding the life through knowledge and experience creates the impact on gratitude and well- being.

Relational

If I maintain constructive relationships with others in life, I can be in a bête position to write a letter of gratitude and well-being.

Emotional

Containing the emotional attachments, a may lead towards the resilience and optimism, which makes the relationship better and provide a chance to get deeper into the contact.
