The article illustrates the role of women in the film industry. Women are a contributing to streamlining different social issues. The recent Oscar nominations are triggered by women, and the most important thing is to keep this momentum. Different women such as Tiffany Haddish, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Morrison, Frances McDormand, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jodie Foster are in the limelight due to their efforts regarding women’s issues. Obviously, the time has been changed, and there is a need to streamline the role of men as well to make the difference.
Opinion
I think the topic is constructive. The first point is combining science and art to depict several ideas in the society a is a good approach to enhance the visibility of public attention. However, critically, when it comes to men, they seem certain of their idea. Second, if a woman becomes a victim of anything, a man may be the main reason behind it. Thus, with the perspective of women’s contribution, it looks constructive. Relative to men, it makes them controversial in society. Third, gender parity is in the limelight, and it is a good time to eliminate these differences.
What have you learned from the topic covered in the article?
There are several aspects, which have been learned from this article. The first thing that I learned is how to eliminate the gender parity. Of course, it is possible to provide space for women to exploit their skills and understandings. Also, the second learning aspect is the increase in the contribution despite having the ethnic diversity, which is quite visible in cast and crew members. People are collaborating and working on the same agenda. This third learning aspect of the article is the success, as I have learned how to work hard, stick to ideas, stay focused, and contribute to society. All women, nominated for Oscar are perfect examples for me.
