In the contemporary business environment, the management is quite able to exploit different opportunities. First Instance, McDonald can enhance the visibility of several joint ventures with different retailers to expand the business. In addition, based on the community engagement, the company can focus on advertisements on different media channels to justify the quality of food and good health impacts on people. Also, the company can expand in different developing countries, which are undone by competitors. The business growth can be increased through expansion in developing countries. McDonald is known for its fresh burgers, fried chicken, and Mcflurry ice-cream. McDonald can offer a wide range of products to tap the potential customers. Another opportunity can be to add local tastes for each country. For example, spicier, and veggie options can be offered in the Indian market (Corporate.mcdonalds.com, 2018).

Threats for McDonald’s

Comparatively, the product menu of different competitors in the fast-food market is creative and innovative, and it seems a huge threat for McDonald. Customers are looking to have something new in food and competitors are justifying it. New entrants can contain the product innovation and differentiation, which can make the company on the back foot. Obesity issue has emerged as big threats in America and different part of the world. Therefore, an immense range of customers is avoiding fast food. It seems the big threat because it can hit operations of the company hard.  Healthier options can be introduced for catering with this threat. Obviously, there is a need for some strategic considerations to eliminate these threats in the competitive fast-food market. The controversies relating the high turnover of the employees are needed to be catered to as well. It can become a threat to the management and does not create a good reputation for the company (Mcdonalds.com, 2018).
