Steve Jobs Leadership Tactics

Certain leadership tactics and management practices may positively or negatively affect employee empowerment, motivation, and productivity. Research evidence of how Steve Job’s behavior affected employee empowerment, motivation, and productivity in his organization. Describe how Jobs’ behavior shaped organizational culture in a positive or negative fashion. Were any ethical and/or unethical political behaviors evident in these tactics?

Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple Inc, demonstrated different effective leadership tactics or strategies to motivate employees, which created a positive impact on the performance, productivity, and efficiency. Steve jobs expressed the pertinent behavior under his leadership to create the influence. Some prominent leadership tactics are as under

Being an effective leader, Steve jobs believed in own vision. He urged employees to follow the vision with the same belief and come up with remarkable results. Instead of motivating through perks or incentives, he used to motivate employees through sharing the visions. Immense support and empowerment of people set the direction of the company. In addition, employee engagement was another tactic that he used in the organization. For Instance, his behavior was positive, creative, and optimistic with the employee, which enhanced the viability of engagement (Tobak, 2014). Thus, through engagement of the leader, the employee created an exceptional perception of both, the company and the leader. Interestingly, he always wanted to hire people who want to be part of his journey.

The biggest thing that this leader did in the organizations was emotional, sentimental, and intellectual attachments with employees. He drew employee into his start, which led towards the immense motivation and productivity, as a leader, he knew how to produce results, and employees were to play a crucial role under his leadership.  Furthermore, it has been revealed that Steve Jobs was looking forward to boost the enthusiasm and appeal at the workplace. He always wanted to make employee productivity and go beyond their limits. He used to identify the strengths of employees and let them perforce extraordinary tasks to produce results. This was influential, motivational, productive, and high-flying leadership tactic that he used in the workplace to make the difference (Winfrey, 2015).

In the end, this is to conclude that the leadership tactics may be changed due to employment trends and the nature of the workplace. However, when it comes to behavior, it seems pertinent for employee motivations, and Steve is a perfect example.
