Introduction

Political action committee is an organization, which raises and spends money on different political campaigns. In the political system or process, these funding are used for or against a candidate. It is a source of funding for campaigns, which has different negative and positive aspects.

Positives and Negatives of This Organization

Concerning the advantages first political action committee assists in spreading a particular ideology for the betterment of people and society. The utilization of money, derived from PAC, is good for different Pre-Election campaigns to create the influence. PA C is effective in getting an immense range of people involved in the campaign. From campaigns, the candidate can make it the real moment, which seems a big advantage. The political candidate can think big in the elections campaigns due to the financial support. The big advantage is the political space that a candidate can have in the political system, even when containing the lowest majority[1].

Relative to the disadvantages, the political action committee may not work effectively in several regions due to the difference in rules and regulations. Every state contains different rules and regulations, and a candidate may struggle to get the ideology or campaign into the limelight. Furthermore, through PAC, it seems tough to build traction, as candidates have to work hard to gain benefits. With the perceptive of the PAC, people may take much time in fundraising. Some controversial perceptions can also be created, which can create the negative impacts on the political ideology.  Interestingly, the candidate, affiliated with PAC must have to stick with the same agenda. Otherwise, donors may stop funding, and it may impair the whole process.

Freedom of Speech and Interest Groups

There are some contradictions regarding the credibility of political action committee. Some political experts think that through funding, the PAC enhances the visibility of support and empowerment of ideology or freedom of speech. However, with the passage of the time, it has become a disaster for democracy. Obviously, political giants in the country are gaining unfair advantages. For Instance, super-rich people labor unions and related organizations are providing money only to those people who are affiliated with their strategy. Thus, the ideology seems triggered by the other think tanks that enable donations or funding.  According to the revelation, there are few people giving money for particular campaign due to their interests. Of course, the few people for finding make the political action committee controversial, and even venerable in term of burn out. It makes unfair advantage quite visible to interest groups with money such as wealthy individuals, corporations, and unions[2].

Court Ruled on these Issues

The court has taken some serious actions and imposed some rules. For Instance, in PAC process, the corporate expenditure are visible. These are declared unconstitutional by the court. This is a fact that the political contributions in term of funding were unlimited. However, keep the negatives in the mind the court has imposed some limitations. People will have the limited political contributions now[3].  The registered presidential political actions committees have lost the credibility. For example, Supreme Court in the United States of American allowed $30 million without buying corrupt influence over the opposition of the senator. It means the corporations cannot support the senator to have personal benefits. Illegal or unethical use of position in the political system of the United States is strictly prohibited, and the court is quite up to it[4].

Conclusion

In end, it is to conclude that political action committee, despite having advantages and disadvantages, still has influences in the election campaign. Main aspects of this study were the description of political action committee, pros, and cons, affiliation with interest group and court’s intentions.
