Executive Summary

In the marketing management course, the content or assignments have played a vital role in understanding marketing competitiveness. For Instance, marketing management course depicts several marketing concepts and theories along with the real case studies of different organizations. From positioning to differentiation process, all insights have been derived, which can help any organization gain the competitive advantage in the competitive advantage. For Instance, Wal-Mart, being a top retail chain in the world, depends on better positioning and differentiation to get its products and services in the loop. Well, being a student of marketing management, the course will bring value in an organization in the future. My understanding regarding the marketing process and the role of the marketing manager has been improved. Being a marketing manager in the company, I will execute all skills and concepts which have been navigated on this particular course. The role of marketing can be shaped effectively. Assignments are based on key discussions, marketing quizzes, and case studies of different organizations. Thus, through learning, I can streamline my role in the marketing process of the company.

As mentioned, I have learned many things and derived knowledge. Accordingly, the positive difference can be made through exploitation and implementation of modern marketing concepts and theories. The most important thing is to integrate with modern market trends, and it can lead towards positive change effectively. The knowledge and skills in this marketing course can help me to demonstrate positive social change. For Instance, I learned how to execute marketing strategies along with some ethical business considerations. Positive advertisement in the presence of competition can better attract customers and enable positive change.  Social change within the organization can be enhanced through cultural integration. Obviously, within the organization, the marketing process should be triggered by the culture of the company as well. I have different marketing goals. For Instance, my goal is to get products or services in the limelight through attractive marketing approaches. In future, it is quite workable for me, as far as my marketing career is concerned.  Understanding the whole marketing process is good for my career development. A command of marketing knowledge can help me contain swift development in the marketing field.

Marketing Mix (Promoting Myself)

Being a student of marketing, I have to utilize my skills, knowledge, and experience in different organizations. However, to meet this purpose, there is a need to build a personal brand. I am committed to building my personal brand to enhance the attraction. The most important thing is to be the preference of employers. When creating a personal brand, I have to contain authenticity. With the proper alignment of words and action, I can depict authenticity. Moreover, growing the personal brand is important through making strong and attractive social profiles. The consistency in the personal brand seems imperative for me. Interestingly, personal brands may demonstrate different stories, which makes it attractive. Several career insights and objectives must be streamlined to make the difference. I want my personal brand industry specific (The Muse, 2012). I have to show expertise in a particular industry, e.g. retail industry. Actively, I would like to promote my brand on social channels to make it visible to the audience that visibility is a key personal brand element. The value proposition is important for the personal brand. For Instance, I am looking to offer my services in the advertisement process and search engine optimization. I can use my skills and knowledge for both traditional and modern media channels. Assertively, I will offer these services to the advertising department. My brand will depict connections, communication skills, decision-making approaches, and different problem-solving techniques as well. Overall, the personal brand looks attractive, as I am ready to go and contribute to an organization. The execution of skills and experience at the right time can justify the success of the personal plan. To promote myself, integration with these elements seems worthy, as it can also help me move forward and contain growth. These personal brands are to watch in the online community. These can also fulfill my personal brand desire (Orlic, 2016).

Specific Goal/Action for Professional and Personal Development (Action Plan)

The special goal for professional and personal development is to increase knowledge of industry, competitors, and c customers.

Rationale

The big reason to select this goal is the need and requirement of the marketing process. As mentioned, I have to groom in the marketing department of the company. I must contain personal and professional development by integrating with industry knowledge. For Instance, in the retail industry, I have to know different competitors and their actions. Instead of just designing campaigns, perfect marketing intelligence is required. Marketing intelligence is a key source of industry and customer knowledge, which may lead towards a sustainable competitive advantage.

Importance in Term of Positive Social Change & Examples

The positive social change is in the limelight. Customers are living in society and being a part of the marketing team; I can promote new social trends through different campaigns. For example, being a marketing manager of a retail company, I can initiate positive social change through promoting healthy behavior. Targeting health-conscious people and promoting new health trends is a positive change.

The Personal or Professional Value I Expect From Achieving Each Goal

Professional value can be derived through meeting the expectations of customers. Interestingly, based on the customer needs and industry knowledge, I can make effective decisions and become a great contributor. Through achieving this goal, I can effectively create value.

Relating Goals with Resources

In the course, human, financial, and technological goals have been navigated. Thus, through appropriate financial investments and efforts of people in the company, the chances of goal attainment increase (Llopis, 2013).

Two Objectives of Goals I identified

The objective of the goal is to become an expert in the next three years to contribute to the success of the company.

The objective of this goal is to become a market leader in the next five years in the industry.

Action Plan to Relate to the Personal Brand

To relate to the personal brand, I have to streamline the personal brand elements. I would like to work with different marketing professionals and enhance the learning process. After it, I can make connections and identify several issues. In the industry analysis a, authenticity, visibility, and customer value can also be streamlined to propose a different solution.  Monitoring and growth can help me evolve with time (Kang, 2013).

Agent for Positive Social Change and Perception of Others

The other will see me as an agent for positive change due to my assertiveness in shaping positive and healthy behavior. Industry knowledge or analysis is a source of new trends or social insights, and people can perceive me accordingly.
